The goal in Children’s Ministries is to partner with parents to invite children into a lifelong journey of faith, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We know a shared experience between church and home is far more effective in building a spiritual foundation, and all programs are designed to encourage parent involvement and follow-up conversations in the home.
Baby/Child Dedication
Baby/Child Dedication is a very special time in the life of a family: A time of celebration. Baby/Child Dedication is a parental recognition that your child is a gift from God. A commitment is made to raise your child, to the best of your ability, to love, honor, and follow God, praying that one day your child will come to make a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as his/her personal savior. The commitement does not end with the parents because as the parents have made the decision to help raise a Godly child, the church makes the same commitment to help raise the baby/child in a Godly environment. The service gives the parent and the church the opportunity to make this commitment publicly before God, family and friends. A date and time for our next Baby/Child dedication has yet to be set!
